How we use your data
This site is designed to enable you to securely interact with the various States of Guernsey services via a single portal.
The only data that it collects, which can be related to you personally, is the data you enter on screen. The information:
- is transmitted securely (encrypted)
- is stored on our secure data centre in Guernsey and only accessible to authorised staff or suppliers
- will only be used by the States of Guernsey (unless there is a legal reason to pass it on or we must enforce or apply our terms of use or other agreements)
- will only be used in relation to the provision of services, to maintain your record in the Register of Contact Details and/or to compile aggregated statistics
The States of Guernsey processes any personal data that it collects in accordance with the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2017, which provides for your rights as a Data Subject. To find out more about how the personal data you send the States of Guernsey via my.gov.gg is processed once it has been received, please refer to this Fair Processing Notice.
This site also uses cookies to collect anonymised information about how you navigate this site, unless you opt-out or change the settings on your device.
You can use this site to access various States of Guernsey online services. Please be aware that some of the online services you can access via my.gov.gg will have a different privacy policy to this one. Usually, you will see a difference in the look of the web pages when you move into a different site, flagging that you have gone into another website. If you are unsure, you can check the web address (all the pages within this site contain my.gov.gg in the address). It is a good habit to check the web address and read the privacy policy on any website before you submit any personal data through it.
Cookies
This website complies with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) (Amendment) Regulations of 2011. We use cookies on our website to improve the functionality of the website for your benefit. By not using the cookies, certain areas of the site would stop working as effectively, and in others, would stop working altogether. We therefore consider the use of cookies to be in the public interest, in accordance with Article 6(1)(e) of GDPR.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website. Our analytics service provider generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies. The analytics cookies used by our website have these names:

Deleting your account
If you no longer wish to use your my.gov.gg account or any of the associated online services and would like your account details to be permanently deleted, please complete the request to delete form to initiate the process. This process is not automated to ensure accounts are not deleted in error.
